Addis Foto Fest / Alle School of Fine Arts

Addis Foto Fest collaborates with Addis Ababa University's Alle School of Fine Arts to host an artist residency in Ethiopia's capital. The program connects international photographers and visual artists with Ethiopia's ancient artistic traditions and contemporary scene. Addis Ababa — seat of the African Union, home to 120 million people's culture — offers a context radically different from other African art capitals. Residencies of 4–8 weeks include studio space, accommodation, and connections to Ethiopian artists and cultural institutions.
