Ballinglen Arts Foundation

Ballinglen is located on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way in one of the most remote and visually dramatic landscapes in Europe — the windswept coast of County Mayo. Founded in 1992, the foundation offers month-long residencies for visual artists and printmakers, with fully equipped studios, private housing in the village, and a weekly stipend. Over 500 artists from around the world have been hosted. The remote setting and intimate scale make it especially prized by painters and printmakers seeking uninterrupted immersion.
