Rate My Artist Residency ("RMAR," "we," "us") is operated by Triple S Studios LLC. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use ratemyartistresidency.com and related services.

What we collect

Account info — name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
Profile data — city, country, artist statement, CV, and portfolio links you choose to add (Pro members).
Reviews — ratings, review text, pros/cons, and the year you attended a residency.
Applications — materials you submit through our application portal (Pro members).
Saved residencies & alerts — which listings you bookmark and what deadline alerts you set (Saver+ members).
Payment info — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage data — basic analytics (pages visited, device type) via Vercel Web Analytics. No third-party ad trackers.

How we use it

To provide the service — display reviews, power the directory, process applications, send deadline alerts.
To improve the platform — understand which features are used and fix bugs.
To communicate with you — account-related emails, subscription confirmations, and deadline reminders you opted into.

We do not sell your data. We do not share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Artist-owned data

Your artist profile, portfolio materials, and application content belong to you. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems. Reviews you've published may remain in anonymized form to preserve the integrity of the directory.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track users across sites. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

Third-party services

Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Vercel — hosting and analytics. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Data security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All traffic is served over HTTPS. We follow reasonable industry practices to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

Your rights

You can update or delete your account at any time from your account settings. If you need help or want to request a full data export, email us at kn@studiostudios.net.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of RMAR after changes constitutes acceptance.
